Sizecon 2017 Review

My GOD.

What a good con.

This year was much larger than last, a bigger venue with tons of space for everybody to set up and be comfortable was absolutely welcome and lovely.  I had SUCH a great time meeting, drawing, and talking with dozens upon dozens of people and spending it with my bud . Each day had so many fun panels run by the excellent moderator Gomaironin who kept things moving well and conversational. Everybody was friendly and nice and I got to meet a bunch of people from the community I hadn't before, such as Canid and Catgirl! Of course I also got to draw TONS, and lots of fun subjects that I will be hopefully posting a compilation of!

Note! If you bought a commission from me, I'd LOVE to get a picture of it scanned! If you don't have one, I THINK I was able to snap most of them, but I'll take whatever you can send me!

Additionally, I sold copies of my comic (Substitute Teaser, and the bonus which will be coming up soon!) and myriads of prints! I was THRILLED how many people bought work, thank you all so much for the support!

ONE PERSON GOT AWAY WITHOUT ME BEING ABLE TO GIVE THEM THEIR PURCHASE! I FOUND YOU LATER BUT YOUR MERCH WAS LOCKED UP IN THE BACK AND I COULDN'T GET IT. I'M SO SORRY, PLEASE GET IN TOUCH WITH ME SO I CAN MAIL IT TO YOU!!!

I do still have a couple physical copies of my comic left and many prints, and soon (once I figure out the shipping costs of various things) I'm going to be offering the chance to buy prints and have them mailed to you! I dunno if there will be an interest in it, but I'll still offer up the opportunity!

After the con, monday was spent with the amazing going around and being a tourist in NY. We saw times square, rockefeller plaza, the nintendo store, central park, the natural history museum and had so many delicious foods while there, it was really an adventure!

Thank you so much to and Bryan for hosting the event, it was really an amazing feat you pulled it together two years in a row and I hope you'll be able to manage a third with the help of me and other members of the community (I really need to step up my input). I hope you'll all consider joining for it next year, this year had over 150 people in attendance and next year could be even BIGGER!
